Dr. Mauli Shah was born and raised in Southern California. She completed her undergraduate training at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in upstate New York in 2009. She stayed in New York to attend medical school at Albany Medical College. She moved back to California for Internal Medicine residency training at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center.
She then enjoyed working as a hospitalist for a few years before moving to Austin and completing her fellowship in Endocrinology at Baylor Scott and White in Temple, TX. She enjoys spending her free time with her children and husband. She also enjoys doing yoga, watching movies, and traveling. Dr. Shah joined TD&E in 2024.
