Dr. Lucy Esteve was raised in France, England and the U.S. in a military family. She attended Imperial College London in the U.K. where she obtained a BEng in Biomedical Engineering and a MSc in Immunology. She then completed her medical training at Warwick Medical School in the U.K. and Internal Medicine residency training at UT Health San Antonio, TX.

She recently graduated from her Endocrinology Research fellowship at Duke University in Durham, NC. While at Duke, her academic interests focused on the use of technology (in particular wearable smartwatches) for early detection of diabetes and prevention of diabetes-related complications.

She enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children and loves to travel, cook and swim. Dr. Esteve joined TD&E in 2024 and is fluent in English, French & Italian.
