Dr. Kajal Shah was born and raised in India and attended Medical College Baroda for medical school. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Northwell Health, New York. She pursued her Endocrinology fellowship at SUNY, Stony Brook, New York and served as a chief fellow during that time.
For Dr. Shah, the best part about Endocrinology is maintaining long term relationships with her patients and providing comprehensive evidence-based care. Her major areas of interest are Thyroid and Adrenal gland disorders. She has also presented several abstracts and posters at various Endocrine Society meetings.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, swimming, and cooking. She moved to Austin to be closer to her family and is very excited to explore the greater Austin area.
